“The Cheaper Route to your New Car or Commercial Vehicle”
There are several ways we can bring the price down. The first is probably the most obvious, we have bulk buying power with our suppliers, which means, that our suppliers take less of a profit margin per unit sold. On top of that, because we do not have the overheads that a main dealer may have, our profit margins are also significantly lower. The third reason is to do with the various dealer bonuses on offer. By consistently reaching volume related targets, the dealer can pass on additional savings to us, and therefore, you, the customer. Additionally, we are not required to follow the pricing structure set out by the manufacturer (that franchised main dealers have to follow), so we are able to pass the huge savings on to our customers.
We can order a brand new car direct from the factory, built to your exact specification (usually within a 6 - 12 week time frame depending on the manufacturer), or if you need something fast then we can look in nationwide dealer stock to find something suitable. We also have access to ex-demonstrators, pre-registered, ex-rental and nearly new cars too - just ask. Due to constantly changing discounts and new offers, we are not always able to show all the discounts we have available to us. If you cannot see what you are looking for then please e-mail us at enquiries@buyanewcaronline.co.uk or call us on 0845 612 3341.
The prices on our website show the MRRP (Manufacturers Recommended Retail Price) for a UK supplied car inclusive of the on-the-road price and 12 months Road Fund Licence (unless otherwise stated). We then show the price you will pay us for the same car, followed by the saving. For some makes we can also discount any optional extras you order with the car (excluding dealer fitted items). These prices will be shown next to the vehicle you have selected. In most cases you will be able to build your car online with us, outlining options and colours. You should also be able to view the standard specification of the vehicle. If this information is not visible for your chosen vehicle and you would like a final price, then please contact us and we will be only too happy to help.
Once you have selected your specific vehicle from the Search Cars or Commercials menu, you will be able to enter your contact details and submit a request for additional information. We will then endeavour to contact you within 24 - 48 hours of you submitting your details. However, should you wish to speak to someone straight away, then call one of our sales advisors using the 0845 number from the website.
Once you've submitted your enquiry, check your email for our instant response. The automated quote shows the cost of your car including the options you have selected. (Please bear in mind that our quote is based on the information you provided and assumes any options you requested are compatible).
Please note that all of our prices include 12 months Road Fund Licence, all On The Road fees, number plates and delivery to you within the UK (unless otherwise specified). Metallic paint and all other options will be added when you select the options from the main menu. We do not have any hidden extras, so the price you see, quite simply, is the price you pay!
An unregistered car is quite simply a car that will name you as the first registered keeper. However, in many cases, we can obtain far better discounts by first registering the vehicle to one of our fleet companies just a few days before delivery to you. In such case you will be the 2nd registered keeper but the first legal owner. Please ask if you are unsure about anything.
From our experience, a pre-registered car is not of less value than a first registered car. We do several quotes with main dealers on cars, which come back to us as trade-ins from existing customers. Dealers are far more interested in things such as the age of the car, the number of miles it has covered and the general condition of the vehicle, rather than how many names it has on the log book. On top of this, Internet companies account for a large percentage of all new vehicles registered on the roads each year. Therefore, pre-registered cars are increasingly common in the market place. If it does make a difference, it will be marginal and you will recoup far more from the savings you have made from buying your new car from us.
We are now able to offer a part exchange facility for your existing vehicle. Please select from the green tab at the top of our home page titled "Part Exchange". You will then be asked to enter as much information as possible about your car. Please be accurate with your description, as our quotation will be based on the data provided including the condition of the vehicle. Should you wish to proceed with part exchanging your car, we will usually ask you to drive to our office in Gloucester to arrange the swap over of vehicles. If this is not possible we can arrange for a driver to collect it at an extra cost, or if, we have one of our own drivers delivering your new car, he/she will simply take the old one away. Please ask if you are unsure about anything.
Buying a car is a big decision and is certainly one of the largest purchases the majority of us will make. In these cost conscious times it's becoming increasingly important not only to find the right car to suit your own personal needs, but also the best way of paying for it. With the majority of cars on the road now being purchased through some form of finance, the various options we offer are worthy of serious consideration by every car buyer. If you have not already spoken to our Finance Business manager, we can arrange for someone to contact you for to discuss the full details of the finance options available, their advantages, disadvantages and suitability for your intended vehicle purchase.
Once you have found your car and are ready to order, either e-mail us with your requirements or call us. In order for you to proceed, we will require your full contact details. We will then send you an official order form. This will confirm the full details of the vehicle you wish to purchase, the final price, and an estimation of how long it will take before the car is ready to be delivered. We work within the manufacturers recommended time frames, and, although rare, delays can and do happen, so please be patient should this happen on your order. We will of course keep you informed every step of the way. Once you have returned the vehicle order form we will need to take a deposit of £500. This can be paid by cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card (credit cards incur a 2% handling fee). Your car will then be ordered.
The estimated delivery date provided on your order form is the latest information we have been given by the manufacturer. We contact our suppliers on a regular basis to check on any updates, and as soon as we receive any further news on an arrival date we will contact you immediately. Once your car is at the dealer, a chassis/registration number will be provided in order for you to arrange insurance cover for the car. Please arrange cover to begin from the date you intend to take delivery.
Once registered, your car can either be delivered by road by one of our drivers or transported (depending on the agreement with our dealer - in most cases the free delivery option will be a driven delivery). Should you wish to receive your new vehicle with minimal mileage on the clock, we can arrange to have the car transported to you. This will, however, incur additional charges. In some cases your vehicle may be collected from one of our many transport depots located within England, Wales and Scotland. Please ask an advisor and they will tell you whether this is possible.
If you are not choosing to finance your vehicle through one of our affiliated finance houses, please ensure that you are able to arrange for an automated bank transfer for the final balance to be provided upon or prior to delivery/collection (subject to identity checks). We would be grateful if you could inform us when payments have been made so that we can track it with our bank. Please include your order number or registration number on any payment reference. This will avoid either of our banks causing any unnecessary delays at point of delivery/collection. Should you wish to pay by banker's draft, we will need to arrange for one of our own drivers to deliver the vehicle, which is chargeable to you. We much prefer automated bank transfers where possible as this avoids delays to all parties
